This is a rapidly growing part of our business and we are currently working on air source heat pump and solar projects.
We are an accredited installer of renewable energy products under the Microcertification Scheme [MCS] through our work with leading renewable energy supplier, Power Naturally Ltd. We are operating an active policy of accrediting our company with key manufacturers training schemes, including Mitsubishi and Daikin.
Air source heat pumps
We are currently working on several projects utilising air source heat pumps [ASHPs]. In domestic heating use, an ASHP absorbs heat from outside air and releases it inside the building, as hot air, hot water-filled radiators, underfloor heating and/or domestic hot water supply. The same system can often do the reverse in summer, cooling the inside of the house.
Solar water heating systems
Solar water heating systems use free heat from the sun to warm domestic hot water. A conventional boiler or immersion heater can be used to make the water hotter, or to provide hot water when solar energy is unavailable.
Solar water heating systems use solar panels, called collectors, fitted to your roof. These collect heat from the sun and use it to heat up water which is stored in a hot water cylinder. A boiler or immersion heater can be used as a back up to heat the water further to reach the temperature you want.
We are currently working on two projects in the Poole area installing solar water heating systems.
